The Flâneur Rabbit of Camp H-H (Sylvilagus Algonquinus) is a little-known, possibly hybrid species that has rarely been sighted in its main habitat – an abandoned summer camp for girls in the vicinity of Algonquin Park, Ontario. Although similar in colouring to its closest relative (the eastern cottontail), the exact appearance and origins of the Flaneur Rabbit remain unresolved. The puzzling behaviours of Algonquinus, notably its attraction to bodies of water and a propensity to display adaptive mannerisms in the form of unusual apparel, have been recorded in paintings, drawings and written accounts by Canadian artist Jasmine Hum who was first to provide evidence of this new genus.
